Union Flag
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
A transformable, flight-capable Mobile Suit developed by the Union as a follow-up to the Union Realdo. Unlike the Realdo, the Union Flag can switch to its flight mode seamlessly. However, this is a challenging process and only incredibly skilled pilots can pull it off in combat. The four plasma jet engines used for flight are hydrogen-fuelled. This is infused into the molecular bonds of the carbon that makes up the machine's frame, eliminating the need for fuel tanks. With exceptional maneuverability and multi-purpose design, the Union prioritized Flags to members of an elite MSWAD task force, whose pilots were referred to as "Flag Fighters."
