Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO
A mobile pod developed for space combat by the Principality of Zeon as the tide of war started to take an unfavorable turn. It was introduced as a decisive battle weapon to fill the gap left by the painful shortage of mobile suits and veteran pilots at the end of the One Year War. This machine makes use of existing parts and weapons such as the Zaku machine gun, thereby keeping production costs down. Its control system is also relatively easy to master, and so it is used mainly by new recruits and rookie pilots. Though its performance was said to trump that of the Federation Forces mobile pod Ball, its mobility and armor were inferior to those of a mobile suit, and it could not completely fill the gap caused by Zeon's MS shortage.
