Unit Details

A ground combat mobile suit manufactured by the Federation Forces using the production lines of the Gundam Ground Type. This version was modified with special weaponry and coloring. Because its intended role was different of that of other machines, it was given the name "Sniper." But rather than being specially customized, it was merely tuned to match its primary weapon, the long-range beam rifle. This rifle gave it firepower equal to that of a warship's main gun. With an extremely long range exceeding that of existing beam rifles, this proved a very formidable weapon. But because the energy that passed through the body of the machine exceeded the limit estimates, it required a heat sink with special energy circuits that could cool the body and barrel, and it was tuned with this in mind.
