Mobile Suit Gundam
This space combat pod was developed as a simple type of mobile suit, to supplement the Federation's predicted shortfall in GM production during the One Year War. Originally, it was nothing more than military equipment for industrial labor. But after the decision was made to mass-produce it for combat use, it was fitted with reinforced armor and a Guntank cannon over a series of prototype stages. Several different variations exist. This machine uses fuel cells as a power source and does not need to cool down after returning from a mission. It also has a high-mobility vernier system that allows it to work in tandem with GMs, making it a valuable asset on the battlefield.
