Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team
A mass-produced version of the Federation Forces prototype mobile suit Guntank. It omitted the Core Block system of the original, in favor of a rotating upper body. It also had a more efficient ammunition feed for its 120mm cannons, making it better suited for its original role of providing long-range support to front-line MS teams. Though it was called a mass production type, this machine was not produced in great numbers, though a few were deployed to bombard tunnels hidden in the mountains during the attack on the Apsaras development base.
