Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link
This mobile suit was the result of the Federation, after having successfully mass produced GMs, combining their technologies to research and develop the next generation of mobile suits. As a prototype that was completed by incorporating various contemporary technologies, the RX-80, which served as a template, was an incredibly appealing high-performance unit. However, the costs of producing and operating such a unit rendered it difficult to deploy as a mass production model. As a result, it was requisitioned by a certain research organization to serve as an experimental unit. Once requisitioned, this mobile suit became a test unit and was fitted with the special EXAM-adjacent HADES system in order to substantially bolster its performance, receiving modifications in line with this system as well.
