Unit Details

The first new mass-produced mobile suit designed by the Federation Forces after the One Year War. It was developed at the lunar city of Granada by former Principality of Zeon engineers who also integrated Federation technology. This was the first mass-produced MS to employ a panoramic monitor and linear seat, and it was a revolutionary attempt to blend Federation and Zeon technologies. Though it received mediocre overall evaluations, its catalog specs were not unsatisfactory. It could also use beam weapons, though it was unable to drive two types at the same time. This is said to have been due to cost-cutting, a last-minute generator change, and other production issues. Nonetheless, this machine was popular with pilots for its good handling and versatility, and due to its low cost it remained in use until the end of the Gryps Conflict. Note that the Federation and Titans versions use different color schemes. The green colors depicted here belong to the latter organization.
