Unit Details

A variation of the Hizack, the first new mass-produced mobile suit designed by the Federation Forces after the One Year War. It specialized in sniping, hiding in the shadows to take down enemies from afar. This tactic earned it the nickname of "Hidden Hizack." Because it was remodeled as a sniper MS, it has an inherent disadvantage in close combat. This is somewhat offset by the shield on its right shoulder, which can retract and extend to cover a larger area. The heat sinks and stabilizers on its backpack have been dropped in favor of a larger propellant tank, allowing longer operating time in the field. Though this machine demonstrated the ability to snipe enemies from beyond their own range, the usefulness of sniping itself was not fully recognized during the Gryps Conflict, and so it played only a limited role.
