Char's Zaku II
Mobile Suit Gundam
This customized machine is a variation of the Principality of Zeon's Zaku II, based on the Zaku II F and remodeled for use by commanders and veteran pilots. It is painted red to match the personal colors of Char Aznable, an ace also known as the "Red Comet." Its key features include a head-mounted blade antenna to signify it as a commander type, 30% higher engine output, and increased propellant. These additions do little to improve the machine's performance, however, and the rumors that it moves an amazing three times faster than normal are largely a result of the skill of its pilot. It can use a variety of armaments depending on the situation, allowing it to adapt to different types of battle. In addition to its versatility, extensibility, and ease of production, it also has excellent handling and reliability.
