Galbaldy Beta
Mobile Suit Z Gundam
A mass-produced mobile suit based on the Galbaldy Alpha developed by the former Principality of Zeon at the end of the One Year War. Taking note of its superb performance, the Federation Forces confiscated and modernized this machine, and then formally adopted it. Based on the Gelgoog, the Galbaldy Alpha also incorporated the close combat capabilities of the melee-specialized Gyan. Though it was a first-generation MS, its performance was so impressive that the only change made to the Beta version was lighter weight to increase its mobility. However, the machine's high mobility also made it difficult to control, and it is thought that it was used only by a few ace pilots as the Gryps Conflict began.
