Mobile Suit Gundam
This is the main battle tank of the Principality of Zeon, but Zeon's lack of know-how regarding the development of ground combat vehicles is apparent in its unique appearance and capabilities. It has a distinct form with an unusually elevated turret. This turret, known as the Magella Top, can separate from the rest of the vehicle and is capable of independent flight. But the meager remaining weaponry of the Magella Base, and the short flight time, poor stability, and reduced firing accuracy of the airborne Magella Top, make this an extremely unwieldy weapon. On the battlefield, it largely served as support for MS and infantry, and had some degree of success in ground combat.
